About Us:

We are from Ramanathapuram district of Tamilnadu.Our district is considered as an industrially backward area as there are no major industries in the district and is highly drought prone because of the lack of rain and rivers.

But we are blessed with one of the most important resource.India has a coastline of about 7,500 kms. The coastline of Tamil Nadu has a length of about 1076 kms constitutes about 15% of the total coastal length of India.Out of which Ramanathapuram has 237 KM of coastal length which is the longest in Tamilnadu.

We designed a business model with our coastal resource.Rameswaram is well known for the traditionally prepared dry fishes by the local fishermen community.We are taking this traditional business to the whole new level.

We are selling traditionally prepared dry fishes in Amazon,Flipkart and through our own website which is designed and developed by us.

Our Innovation:

We are selling around 40+ variants of Dry Fishes.We are selling around 4 variants of Dry Fishes without adding Salt and we are the first one to sell this much variants in Amazon.

We are the first company in India to sell Dry Fishes within Railway Station(Ramanathapuram Railway Station) under One Station One Product(OSOP) Scheme.

We are the first company in India to run a showroom exclusively for Dry Fish which was opened in Madurai Railway Junction on February 12,2023.

Our Journey:

We started our Journey in 10 x7 room in a remote village of Ramanathapuram,Tamilnadu.With all the support,now we have grown into a Private Limited Company having NABARD and Government of Tamilnadu as our investors.With the support and Guidance of Tamilnadu FIsheries Department,now we are providing world class dry fishes throughout India.Our company “Lemurian Ventures Private Limited” provides the best dry fishes under the Brand “Dry Fish Hut“

Why Dry Fish Hut?

Apart from the Product Quality,we provide a lot of information about the product in our packaging.
Once we select a product, it will be tested in a NABL Accredited Food Testing Laboratory to check whether it meet the standards as prescribed in the Food Safety and Standards Regulations of 2011 .
The detailed test report of the product can be viewed by the customer by scanning the QR Code provided in the Package.
Information like where the product has been sourced from,size of the product,Presrvatives added, recommendation for product preparation are provided in the package.
Apart from that, the package will have a QR Code which will redirect to our YouTube channel .We have provided individual playlist for each and every dry fish where the customer will have number of cooking videos for a single dry fish which are collected from top cooking channels.Till now,we had included more than 200 cooking videos in our playlist https://bit.ly/dryfishrecipes
